A GMB listing should be one of the fundamental steps you take when trying to establish your local business’s online presence. So make sure it has a direct link back to your website, as this will be an important signal.
You should also carefully select your business categories. Don't choose multiple categories just for the sake of keywords or to try to get more "reach" - choose the ones that are most appropriate and relevant to your business.
If you have multiple physical branches in multiple locations, you'll also want to set up each GMB so that it links to the appropriate subpage on your website and includes the full branch name in the listing.
