The main cause of stress for 54% of entrepreneurs and top managers in 2024 was dependent employees who regularly turn to managers for help, according to a survey by the HR consulting company Kontakt InterSearch Russia.
The second most popular reason for stress is problems in communication with shareholders or business owners (52%), the third is a lack of personnel (47%).
What else the survey showed: more than 60% of business owner database entrepreneurs and top managers often experience stress, and 15% said that they are constantly under it. Almost all survey participants (89%) are sure that stress can lead to burnout, which will be a problem for the company. For example, 63% believe that burnout can lead to missed opportunities for business development.
How to cope with stress and burnout: entrepreneurs and top managers consider work with personal involvement and motivation (60%) to be the most effective method of combating personal burnout. Vacation is considered effective by 44% of respondents, and 35% find days of silence, when they are not involved in meetings and appointments, helpful.
