Comparison of enKod and mindbox

Post by messi66 »

This part is for those who haven't heard of enKod and/or mindbox. To make it clearer, I'll briefly describe what these services are and why they are needed.

enKod and mindbox are CDP platforms (Customer Data Platform) for marketing automation. That is, programs where you can use customer data for CRM marketing tasks. For example, launch mailings, create pop-ups or a recommendation block for a website.

Platforms allow you to store customer data, segment it, i.e. divide it into groups depending on the level of involvement and other criteria, and use it in mailings, recommendations and other functions. Platforms also provide detailed reporting to assess the effectiveness of the tools used for business.

Main functionality
encode
The first thing you see when you open the enKod platform is the main page. Here you can see the size of the database and the changes made: how many contacts were added, how many were deleted.

enKod Home Page

Data. The contacts themselves, aka your clients, are stored in the "Data" tab. Information about them can be found in the contact card

enKod Contact Card

Contacts can be imported into the platform malaysia business email list from your database and combined into segments . This is necessary in order to have access to different groups of clients. For example, you want to send a mailing only to those clients who made their first purchase. Or in honor of March 8, you need to send a congratulatory mailing only to the female gender.

enKod Segments

Check out the EventyOn case study on how base segmentation helped increase mailing revenue by 1.6 times.

Newsletters. In enKod you can send the following types of newsletters:

Email newsletters,
SMS,
Web push,
Mobile push
WhatsApp.

Selecting a distribution channel enKod

Another cool feature: you can chat with your WhatsApp contact right on the platform .

Pop-ups. They are also called pop-ups - these are forms that appear on websites when opened and when other actions or conditions occur.

Example of a collecting pop-up

Pop-ups can be used to collect a database of email addresses for a mailing list, for example. The user enters their email, subscribes to the mailing list, and gets into the database.

Pop-ups in enKod are created using templates, which is very convenient. You can choose the one you like, adapt it to your needs and test it. Split tests are available – this is when you launch several versions and then look at the metrics to see which one is more effective. We will tell you what these metrics are later =)

Recommendations. Almost the same as in the VK feed =) Okay, that was a joke. But the essence is actually the same: you form a block of recommendations for the user depending on their purchases, actions on the site/app and other conditions. In enKod, recommendations can be placed:

in a newsletter email - this is when you receive an email and it has a part called "You may like" or something like that.
on the website – similar to the first option, only they are placed on the website itself, for example, an online store.
To create recommendation blocks, enKod offers ready-made algorithms: personal recommendations, bestsellers, popular products, and others.

Reports. For business, this is the most interesting part =) Here, analytics on mailings, pop-ups and recommendations that have been reviewed are shown.

Analytics are presented in the form of reports on metrics. On the same metrics that were mentioned above. For example, for messages the metrics are as follows:

Reports in enKod

Email deliverability shows how many of the sent emails ended up in the recipient's Inbox or Spam folders. Yes, you can try, send out mailings, and the client won't even see them, because the mail service will send everything to Spam. Why this happens and how to avoid it - I described in detail in the previous article.

Settings. This tab contains all technical details: account settings, platform modules, API documentation, integrations, and others.

enKod settings

enKod has ready-made integrations with services such as SMS Traffic, WhatsApp, Tilda and others. But the open API allows you to “make friends” with enKod and your external services.

Help. There is an "Ask a Question" function in the platform itself. It opens a letter template that can be sent directly to enKod technical support. It is convenient that you do not need to waste time and look for a way to contact. Our hugging support is always nearby =)

And here are links to the knowledge base with detailed instructions on how to work with the platform, to the enKod website and blog .

enKod Support

It is not an easy task to fit all the functionality of enKod into one article. Therefore, we have considered only the key functional capabilities. You will find more details in our knowledge base.

To get acquainted with the interface and get test access, write to us.

mindbox
The platform is similar to enKod, many functions are almost identical. The functionality of mindbox is divided into 5 blocks:

Clients, orders and products. Here, similar to enKod, information about clients is stored in the client card.

Mindbox Clients

Mindbox Client Card

The client is linked to actions in the client card, in the "Activity Feed" tab. Subscriptions and segments are also available for viewing. The latter were discussed in more detail above, and they are also available in mindbox.

Mindbox Client Actions

In mindbox, products represent items in a project and are stored in the Data section.

mindbox products

Orders are a set of actions that include changing the status of each item within the order. Orders are located in the "Actions" tab and look like this:

mindbox orders

Campaigns. The following channels are available for mailing:

Email
SMS
Viber
MobilePush
WebPush

Mindbox newsletters

The Campaigns tab also contains product recommendations.

mindbox product recommendations

And there are pop-ups located there . We already told you above what it is and why it is needed.

Mindbox pop-ups

Reports. Mindbox also has those same numbers =) Reports on revenue, goals, loyalty program and others are available.

Mindbox reports

Integrations. A separate tab with all available mindbox integrations. Before you start using mindbox, you must set up data exchange with an external system (website, mobile app, cash register, etc.). This is integration.
