Esker, one of the world's leading companies in process automation solutions, reports on the technological project carried out by Corporación Alimentaria Peñasanta, SA (CAPSA), a leading company in the Spanish dairy market. Through its collaboration with Esker, CAPSA has adopted, on the one hand, a system for sending and receiving faxes integrated into its SAP application in service mode; and on the other, a solution for sending SMS alerts with relevant information for farmers, also in service mode.
CAPSA markets its products through the brands list of telegram users in brazil Central Lechera Asturiana , nationally, and LARSA and ATO regionally.
This company has automated the sending and receiving of between 600 and 1,000 faxes per month, with strategic documentation that includes purchase orders or customer orders. To do this, it uses a Fax service from SAP, which was implemented in just one day and works integrated into Lotus Notes email on a pay-per-use basis.
With this system, provided by Esker and extended to the entire company, faxes are sent directly from various SAP modules or from the aforementioned Lotus Notes, and are received by enabling departmental mailboxes.

Benefits obtained:
Cost savings on lines, machines and consumables by adopting service mode. Cost reduction is estimated at 70%.
Saving management time by redirecting each incoming fax and sending faxes without waiting: it is estimated that sending a fax is three times faster from email than using the traditional method. Receiving a fax in your mailbox is 10 times faster and more effective than if it arrives in paper format, counting the time it takes to reach the hands of the interested party.
Reducing or eliminating document loss
100% increase in data security and reliability, which can be more easily verified and archived in electronic format.
Efficient communication with farmers
On the other hand, the dairy company is implementing, with Esker technology, an information service for farmers, to whom it sends around 60 SMS a day to inform them of the preventive analytical results of milk samples , carried out in the company's laboratories. This test takes place after a medical treatment of the cow and after its complete convalescence, to guarantee the quality of the milk according to CAPSA standards.
