Supplement with part seven of the following content

Analysis of the above provisions of Article 176 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine as amended by Laws No. 2531-IX of August 16, 2022 and No. 2810-IX of December 1, 2022 regarding citizens - military personnel who were suspected or accused of committing criminal offenses provided for in Articles 402-405, 407, 408, 429 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine , there was an alternative to choosing a preventive measure.

On August 16, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law of Ukraine No. 2531-IX “On Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine Regarding the Selection of a Preventive Measure for Military Personnel Who Committed War Crimes During Martial Law”, paragraph three of subparagraph two of the first paragraph of which it was decided (quote): “ To make the special database following changes to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (Vidomosti Verkhovnoi Rada of Ukraine, 2013, No. 9-13, Art. 88) : to

"7. During martial law, military personnel suspected or accused of committing crimes provided for in Articles 402-405 , 407 , 408 , 429 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine shall be subject exclusively to the preventive measure specified in paragraph 5 of part one of this article."

On November 1, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law of Ukraine No. 2810-IX “On Amendments to the Criminal and Criminal Procedure Codes of Ukraine Regarding the Closure of Criminal Proceedings in Connection with the Loss of Validity of the Law Establishing the Criminal Illegality of an Act” in paragraph four, subparagraph two, paragraph one of which it is resolved (quote): “ To amend the following legislative acts of Ukraine: in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (Vidomosti Verkhovnoi Rada of Ukraine, 2013, No. 9-13, p. 88): part seven of Article 176 as amended by the Law of Ukraine dated August 16, 2022 No. 2531-IX shall be considered part eight .”
