After a failed demonstration in early February, Google appears to be planning to change its marketing strategy for its Bard artificial intelligence (AI), which is supposed to compete with ChatGPT. This decision was discussed during a heated question-and-answer session with company employees on Thursday, March 2.

Google's artificial intelligence Bard may be indonesia mobile database away from the AI-enhanced search engine market amid internal criticism.
The tech giant appears to have shifted its focus to its artificial intelligence strategy. During an informal meeting with employees on Thursday, March 2, several Google executives assured that Bard , the conversational AI developed as a direct competitor to OpenAI's ChatGPT, will not be solely dedicated to improving its search engine results.

The Q&A session, reported by CNBC, which had access to audio recordings of the event, comes a month after several employees criticized Google's Bard announcement in early February. One of Bard's auto-response samples contained a factual error, causing a $100 billion loss in stock value for its parent company, Alphabet.

"Bard is not research"
The change in strategy was first mentioned by the head of the Bard development team. During the meeting, Jack Krawczyk responded to a question about Bard's priority in generating Google search results, given that these tools "  aren't good at ensuring their text is based on real facts  ."

"  I want to be very clear: Bard is not research  ," the head of the development team immediately responded. For Jack Krawczyk, Google's AI should eventually become a "  creative companion  " designed to spark ideas. This is a surprising statement, given that the company mentioned in a blog post in early February that it wanted to "  start with research  " to integrate its new AI into its products, CNBC recalls.

Above all, Google therefore seems to no longer want to compete directly with the chatbot derived from ChatGPT integrated into the search results of Microsoft's Bing search engine.
