On its first day, Threads reached 70 million users, Meta's app that works similarly to Twitter, surpassed major marketing channels like television, which took 22 years to reach 50 million people.
The first Threads user was none other than Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself. You can check out his Instagram profile, where he has his @1 handle. In his first post on the platform, the entrepreneur left a fun message for new users: “Let's do this. Welcome to Threads.”
Creating a profile on Threads
To access Threads, you must have an Instagram account. You cannot create a Threads profile using email or other identification, and access to the social network is only available via the mobile app.
Threads must be configured from panama mobile database your Instagram account, so you are required to keep the same username on both networks and if the experience of using Threads is not positive, you will not be able to delete Threads without deleting your Instagram profile, but you can deactivate the account
To create your profile on Threads, follow these steps:
Open the Threads app (Android | iOS);
Tap on the “Log in with Instagram” option;
In profile, choose “Import” to copy the data (Name; Username; Photo; Bio; Link);
Choose whether or not to follow the same Instagram accounts (you can choose to follow all the accounts you follow on Instagram or select only those you want to follow on Threads);
Define whether your profile is public or private;
Tap “Join Threads” to finish.
When you complete this registration, your profile is already configured with a username, photo and the list of followers you chose to keep on your Instagram account
It is worth remembering that unfollowing a profile on Instagram or Threads does not replicate the action on the other network
Public or private profile?
Just like on Instagram, you can define the privacy type of your account:
Public profile: Anyone on or off Threads can see, share, and interact with your content;
Private profile: Only approved followers can see, share, and interact with your content.
Account privacy can be changed within the profile settings.
Within the privacy options, you can also restrict mentions of your profile (for everyone, just followers or no one), mute or block profiles. Profiles blocked on Instagram remain blocked on Threads as well.
What Threads doesn't have
Meta's microblogging social network opts for simplicity of use and offers fewer features than other similar services. It does not yet have.
