Launch of the Gandiaye Digital Forum (Fodiga) to promote territorial and digital development

The Mayor of Gandiaye, Pape Songué Diop, officially launched the Gandiaye Digital Forum (Fodiga). This initiative, carried out in collaboration with all the local authorities of the Sine-Saloum cluster, aims to transform the municipality by giving it a tourism and investment identity.
According to the mayor, the main objective of Fodiga is to strengthen municipalities and foster their solidarity through human-centered territorial development. He also emphasized that this forum will support municipalities in their digital transformation and promote the digitalization of almost all communities.

During the launch ceremony, the Minister of Local Authorities, Mamadou Talla, congratulated Pape Songué Diop and expressed his jiangsu mobile number database for this innovative project. He emphasized that local authorities will work alongside Gandiaye to promote this project throughout Senegal.

The Gandiaye Digital Forum (Fodiga) is scheduled for July 27 and 28 in Gandiaye, a town located approximately 25 km northwest of Kaolack. This innovative project aims to promote territorial and digital development, and the Minister of Local Authorities has encouraged its replication in other regions of the country.
