You must agree with me that it would be very presumptuous of you, no matter how much research you have done, to believe that everything is perfect in the first version of your campaign, group or ads. Don't you agree?

That's why I classify the lack of adjustments at different campaign levels as one of the biggest mistakes in Google Ads . Believe me, from the experience I have accumulated over more than 15 years of working in the field, this is a very common mistake.

Especially when launching a new Campaign, adjustments must be made practically daily, in elements such as:

Click value, when this charging criterion is adopted.
The campaign may usa mobile database even be performing well, but you need to be aware that an ad is actually a precious stone in your sponsored links campaign, which needs to be constantly polished.

6 – Not creating Remarketing campaigns
Another mistake I consider to be one of the main mistakes in Google Ads is not creating Remarketing campaigns on the Display Network , to reinforce the initial impact, for example, of a campaign run on the Google Search Network .

Remarketing campaigns are a way of extending the relationship with a potential customer who visited a specific page on your website or performed an action within your digital marketing strategy.

These campaigns have a very high conversion rate, but one of the mistakes that many people make with Google Ads is thinking that you win by persisting. Therefore, when setting up your campaign, limit the number of times your ad is displayed. Don't be a pain in the ass.

7 – Not having Google Ads Tags active
Google Ads basically has two tracking tags: Conversion and Remarketing . Not having these tags installed on your website or online store is one of the Google Ads mistakes that you simply cannot afford to make.

Without these tags installed, it's like you're sailing blindly, without a compass, in a rough ocean. Without the Conversion tag, for example, how can you measure the return on investment in digital marketing made in this channel?

This is an issue that can be easily resolved if you install Google Tag Manager on your website, so don't make another one of these mistakes in Google Ads, claiming not to know the path to follow.

For many people, advertising on Google may seem complicated, but with the right techniques, and knowing how to avoid Google Ads mistakes that can compromise the performance of your campaigns, it becomes much easier.

Managing Google Ads campaigns is both a technical and strategic matter. When you master these techniques, avoiding the main Google Ads mistakes becomes much easier.
