For example, Sodexo allows all employees whose job responsibilities allow it to work from home, including the IT department. Only people in operations or customer service centers where they are in contact with clients cannot work from home.
"Nowadays, I do not consider physical presence in the office, or in the city or country, necessary for most positions in a marketing agency. It is very easy to work, and I recommend it, with a virtual team, where professional competence and reliability are far more important than physical presence. This is not true for perhaps one position, namely project manager/account manager, and generally client service," adds Tomáš Vacek from the Contexto agency.
Over 80 percent of Posta bez hranic employees have returned to their normal routine, going to work slovenia phone number data and having a home office whenever they need to. "Some use a hybrid regime, where they are at work part of the week and at home part of the week. This is possible for people in offices, but our operations, where we process shipments, of course cannot be done from home," says Pavel Vyoral, CEO of Posta bez hranic.
"Most of our colleagues now work three days in the office and two days at home, but some prefer to be at work more. We offer some flexibility for all positions, but we do not recommend working from home for new team members. We have found that they feel lonely and have difficulty getting to know the rest of the team," adds Jana Večerková, founder of Coding Bootcamp Prague.
At home until the end of the year
According to experts, in a number of office professions, at least some work from home will remain even after the pandemic is over. "Therefore, finding a job with the option of a home office will not be a problem. For example, in the business, customer and IT services sector, which employs 130,000 office workers in many specialties and offers many career opportunities for graduates, most people still work from home today," says ABSL director Jonathan Appleton.
According to a survey by the ABSL industry association, an average of around 15 percent of employees in the sector will still be visiting colleagues. "Many companies, especially in the IT sector, have not even announced a return to home office yet and continue to recommend working from home until the end of this year," adds Appleton.
