According to the survey, Brazilians spend an average of 3 hours and 34 minutes per day connected to social media . This number is higher than the global average and places the country as the twitter database third largest consumer, behind only South Africa and Kenya. This data shows that the use of social media goes far beyond entertainment in Brazil – it plays a central role in everyday life, whether for work, communication or learning.
