Wordpress Basics

In part 1 , we shared about the concept of CMS, the difference between Wordpress.com and Wordpress.org, and the first step when using Wordpress is the installation step. In this part, we will share the next steps together.
Step 2: Navigate in the Wordpress Dashboard
Once you have completed the installation, the first thing you austria whatsapp data will want to do is log in to your WordPress admin dashboard. Typically, there is a link to the login page on the front end of your WordPress blog. However, some website themes do not have this link. In this case, the easiest way to log in to WordPress is to add wp-admin to the bottom of your website like this:

This URL will take you to the login screen where you will be asked to enter your administrator username and password. Remember that you entered this information during the Wordpress installation. Once logged in, you will see the admin dashboard. This gives you an overview of your entire site and has 3 main sections:

A toolbar at the top of the page contains links to commonly used administrative functions and resources. For example, if you hover over your site name, you'll get a link to the public view of the site. It also displays simple notifications like updates and new comment counts.
The main navigation menu on the left contains links to all of the WordPress administration screens. Hovering over a menu item will display a submenu with additional items.
Main work area
The first time you log into your WordPress admin panel, you will see a welcome module that contains some useful links to help you get started. Once you are comfortable with the dashboard, click the Dismiss button to hide this module.
