The first eTourism Hackathon in Belgium will take place on March 20 and 21 in Libramont. This is an initiative of GreenHub , a network of territorial innovators, supported by the Creative Wallonia regional program.
If you haven't heard of the concept yet, a hackathon is a computer development marathon at the end of which teams are asked to present prototypes of mobile applications or online services developed collectively during the event.
Participants will have access to data (OpenData) made turkey mobile database by various public bodies active in tourism in Belgium. The list of data sources is available on the website

In the province of Luxembourg, the tourism sector is a strategic sector of economic life. The various teams will need to be able to quickly offer tools adapted to the mobile and digital society. Furthermore, this is an additional opportunity to raise awareness among tourism stakeholders in the province of Luxembourg of the importance of using the web and mobile in their strategies.
