Key combinations used for keyboard navigation:
To go to the top and bottom of the site: Home and End keys
To move to the left and right sides of the page: Page Up and Page Down keys
To navigate links and other elements: Tab key
To open an element: Enter key
To close an element: Esc key
To return to the previous element: Backspace key
To go back to the next element: Shift + Tab key
Check the order of links and form fields:
Press the tab key. You should see the screen move the focus from one link to the next with each press. To go back, press SHIFT+TAB (with the tab key held down).
Think about the use case in advance
What is the purpose of the page? Can you move the mouse to the required link?
Test the functionality of the links
Can you open the link you want with the enter key?
Test the functionality of drop-down menus
Once you have reached the drop-down menu using the country email list tab key, press the down arrow key. You can navigate in the drop-down menu using the arrow keys.
