Without a doubt, we are all used to communicating through Gmail; it is one of the few user-friendly, simple and beautiful email clients. However, although the words "Google" and "Outlook" are associated with well-known companies, they lack originality because anyone can create an account using these resources. You need a unique domain corresponding to the name of your company. Special headers after the @ symbol are the hallmark of an elegant business email.



Some of us have multiple email accounts for a variety of reasons, and there is nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their vices and virtues, but they are for our personal and social lives, not for business.

Any nickname or alter ego is not appropriate for your business email address. Michael Smith, sometimes called "Mikey," prefers [email protected] . Your first and last name is always a good idea.



Rule 3: Exclude numbers
While the global population grows past 700 million, the chances of having a unique name are slim at best. Think of the John Smiths of this world. Because of poor John, free email tools offer automation options that include numbers as an alternative.

This isn't good for business, though. For example, users named "johnsmith2013" or "19johnsmith78" are seen homeowner database as unreliable and untrustworthy . In fact, they can trigger spam filters and send your emails straight to spam.

The same goes for punctuation and symbols. All of this stuff is hard to remember and can trip up spam filters, especially for large companies. Use only letters. If you absolutely need punctuation, include only a period or two or an underscore at most:

Rule 4: Avoid using your job title
When you put a job title in your email address, such as ," it highlights and outlines what skills you have. However, your recipient may not care about this information.
