Mailchimp Opinion and Review Analysis

We analyzed the reviews of the many users who have tried Mailchimp to understand what the main strengths and weaknesses of this tool were.

As always, we relied on the three main portals, namely Trustpilot, Capterra and G2 . However, unlike email marketing software, we noticed a much higher number of reviews and a large gap in the average score depending on the portal .

This is because Mailchimp has been on the market for over 23 years and is used all over the world, leading to conflicting and different opinions.

In fact, here is the result of our analysis:
The weighted average rating is 4.3 stars , calculated by taking into account the number of reviews per platform.

Interestingly, there is a significant discrepancy in dominican republic phone number list the ratings: while Mailchimp receives a very low rating on Trustpilot (1.4 stars), with 81% of 1-star reviews, both on Capterra and G2 the ratings are decidedly positive (4.5 and 4.4 stars respectively).

This gap may be due to the fact that on Trustpilot, more dissatisfied users write reviews , while specialized software platforms like Capterra and G2 attract more balanced reviews from professional users .

Also note the large difference in review volume: Capterra has the largest sample with over 17,000 reviews, followed by G2 with over 5,000, while Trustpilot has less than 1,000.

Mailchimp is used primarily by small to medium-sized businesses with fewer than 50 employees, which account for 69% of users globally. Mid-sized businesses account for 21%, and large businesses with more than 1,000 employees account for just 10%.
