Shimizu : The best part of being a sales manager is being able to worry. I think being able to worry is a very luxurious thing. You can't worry just by watching Netflix. Happiness is different for each person, but I think the job of a sales manager is perfect for people who want to change their lives even if it means suffering.
Besides, isn't any job about "solving something for someone"? Of course, sales is not namibia consumer email list about "selling something" but about "solving something for someone". So if you think of the sales figures you've accumulated as "the number of customers' problems you solved", wouldn't that make you feel pretty happy? Would you say you got 1 million orders this month, or that you solved the problems of 10 customers? It's up to you to decide how you perceive it.
Conclusion
"Managing yourself" is easier said than done. However, this interview made me realize that it's not a matter of "can or can't," but rather that it's important to "do" it as part of your job.
