The methods described above will not enrich your current database. You can do this by setting up enrichment campaigns. Offer recipients something they want and promote this campaign in your email campaigns. Use a form to ask for a recipient's profile characteristics before they end up on the desired landing page. Announce this in advance so that your recipients are not surprised. Describe again in the introductory text of the form that they will end up on the desired landing page after filling out this form.

With the above methods, recipients must complete their profile characteristics themselves. By looking closely at behavior, you can also find out about profile characteristics without asking. Below we mention two examples of methods.


Most email marketing software measures which link is clicked per recipient. By using this data properly, you can divide recipients into different segments. In the example below from WE, the different segments are promoted. By looking at which link is clicked per recipient, WE knows which areas of interest its recipients have. However, this method is not foolproof, as a woman may be looking for clothes for her husband. Still, it can't hurt to look at the results of your campaign in this way.

Segmenting based on engagement
You can use the engagement of recipients in your malta phone data email campaign as a basis for segmentation. For example, you may want to email the most enthusiastic recipients more often than the average recipient. Or you may want to re-engage recipients who have not opened your emails for a long time by sending them an automated reactivation campaign . Look at your reports for that.

Also look in other systems

There is a good chance that you can enrich the email marketing database by combining the different databases. If your organization does not have multiple databases, you can also purchase additional information from other parties. By comparing the correct profile characteristics from your own database with those of other parties, you can purchase a nice extension to your database. This will save you a lot of time.
