More than a new way of doing marketing, it is an approach and a different way of approaching the market. It is about defining objectives to obtain better results and creating strategies, with specific tasks, to achieve them. If each action of growth marketing is focused on achieving these objectives, growth will be consistent.

Today I want to share with you my experience and what I have learned from implementing growth marketing with my clients.

What you need to know before designing your growth marketing plan
Growth marketing creates strategies focused on achieving conversions and reaching specific objectives of your clients. The idea is to achieve the objectives in an accelerated manner and at a lower cost. Compared to digital marketing, which focuses on brand positioning , growth marketing focuses on results.

But before you start designing your growth marketing plan, you need to understand its principles:

It is customer-focused : More than job seekers database defining what your customer does and what they look like, you must have an in-depth understanding of what they need to solve their pain point.
Requires interdisciplinary knowledge : Growth marketing implements skills from SEO, Social Media, Email Marketing, Big Data and others, so continuous learning is the norm.
Strategies to grow your business
3. Data matters a lot, because to prove which tactics give us results and which we should modify or abandon, it is necessary to analyze statistics.

4. The sales funnel must be optimized because, in growth marketing, you will need to generate content for each stage, since the client has different needs and decisions are made that impact the results at each stage.

5. It is scalable and dynamic so we must be willing to change strategies or modify tactics if they are not yielding results.

Remember that you need to understand your ideal client beyond the avatar. Generating a good experience by addressing their needs helps us achieve faster results because it eliminates much of the client's initial resistance.

1.- Determine the objectives:
The first step in designing an effective growth marketing plan is to define the objectives. To define the objectives of your strategy, remember that they must be specific, measurable and relevant to obtain the results.

Quarterly goals work very well because they give you time to implement the tactics, review and adjust if necessary.

2.- Design the strategies
Our clients have found the omnichannel marketing strategy to work very well. This strategy is effective because it allows us to grow faster at a low cost, since by unifying the message we save time and resources.

Define the platforms where your ideal client is located, choose which one you will have a presence on and start creating unified content that adapts to the characteristics of each one.

By implementing omnichannel marketing strategies, we create an integrated and more fluid experience. This gives us the opportunity to meet our customers’ needs more precisely.

3.- Define the tactics
Tactics are all the tasks that make up a strategy. Growth marketing requires that each action be focused on the objectives and by adopting an omnichannel strategy, we will have to execute email marketing tasks, generate valuable content, make blog posts, manage our social networks and analyze metrics.

The important thing is to determine which of these tasks are really necessary to achieve the objectives, forget about following trends and execute actions that help us achieve conversions.

4.- Execute on time
In growth marketing, executing tasks on time is crucial to results because all tactics are defined based on your clients' problems and their solution. In addition, being in a digital medium that is so dynamic, taking action on time is mandatory.

5.- Audit the results and readjust the strategy
Once we have implemented our growth marketing plan, it is necessary to spend time analyzing the statistics. Only by studying the real and concrete numbers can we have quantitative results that indicate the degree of success or failure of our work.
