Surprisingly, Facebook 's CEO announced that the world's largest social network is becoming increasingly gigantic: it has reached the milestone of 2 billion monthly users! And Mark Zuckerberg promises to continue working to increase these historic numbers.
“It is an honor to be on this journey with you,” wrote the Facebook CEO on his india email list page, also considering that this is another step forward in the company's mission to connect the world.
In turn, Mike Nowak (Product Director) and Guillermo Spiller (Product Manager) explained that this impressive figure is related to the number of monthly Facebook users . They also reported that more than 175 million people share a “ Love ” reaction every day and that, on average, more than 800 million people like something on Facebook . The numbers for Facebook Groups are also huge: more than a billion people use them every month.
To mark the occasion, the social network published a personalized video, which is available in each user's News Feed. And you can also count on a thank you message from Facebook whenever you react to a friend's post with “Love”, wish them a happy birthday or create a group!
