Serverless computing is a method of providing backend services on demand. to write and deploy code without having to worry about the underlying infrastructure. Companies that obtain backend services from serverless providers will pay based on the amount of computing, and because this service is automatically scaled, there is no need to reserve and pay for a fixed amount of bandwidth or servers. Note that although it is called "serverless", physical servers are still required, but developers do not need to think about servers.

In the early days of the Web, anyone who wanted to build a web application namibia whatsapp lead had to own the physical hardware required to run a server, which was a cumbersome and expensive endeavor.

Then there is cloud computing , which allows a fixed number of servers or server space to be rented remotely. Developers and companies that rent this fixed server space often over-purchase to ensure that their applications are not disrupted due to a surge in traffic or activity that exceeds the monthly limit. This means that much of the server space purchased can be wasted. Cloud vendors have introduced auto-scaling models to address this problem, but even with auto-scaling, it can be very expensive to incur a surge in malicious activity (such as a DDoS attack).
