Post by rakibhasan542 »

Two years after Instagram* was blocked, it became clear that a huge audience of bloggers and their subscribers will not leave the platform. Russian brands that have established themselves on the market continue to maintain their accounts on the banned social network. But what if your project is new, it needs to get a warm audience and new clients, and targeted advertising no longer works in the Russian Federation? We talked to Anastasia, a young entrepreneur from Moscow, and she shared a case of promoting her agency on Instagram* using content management.

How did you decide to launch your event agency? What is your background?
Previously, I worked in an event company that organized events for active telegram database users medical workers. These were symposiums, congresses and conferences. In this company, I got my first experience in the event sphere, worked as an assistant and learned everything from scratch.

In the first months of work I was delighted. Of course, it is difficult to combine work and study. But the understanding that I like what I do gave me inner strength. I liked the days of events, when we worked with people, communicated with them; and the days of preparation - setting up stands, receiving products, meeting couriers...

And then January happened. There were no offline events then. I was in the office from morning until evening. It was a standard schedule: 5/2, from 10 am to 7 pm. I came home, had time to eat – and I couldn’t do anything else. I just didn’t have time to live.

The routine was embarrassing to me. Besides, I didn't see myself in medical events at all. I wanted to communicate with people more, interact with them more. And so I thought about changing my career. What if I worked in the field of bachelorette parties, birthdays?..

When I was searching for a candle-making studio on Instagram* to give a gift certificate to a friend, I found one organization that organizes all sorts of master classes and art parties. It flashed through my head: “Wow! What a cool activity they have.” I encountered this for the first time, and I was fired up by the idea of an art party format. I wanted to do something similar myself. I had to put this idea on the back burner for a while, but then I came back to it. At first, I was stopped by the fact that I needed to rent a space for my events. Then I realized that studios can be rented daily or hourly, and there is no need to rent a space for several months in advance. This means that my idea can be implemented without a lot of capital at the very beginning.
