Like this consumer from São Paulo (SP), who has been disturbed at work. “Good afternoon. I have been receiving persistent calls (automatic or not) from this institution, looking for Mrs. Ivete, who is my mother-in-law, selling payroll loans to pensioners. I have warned her MANY times that this phone doesn’t belong to her, but I keep getting the calls. These calls disrupt my work every day, because I have to answer them because I have a manager, director, employees and suppliers. My phone is registered with PROCON’s do not disturb feature and even so these calls don’t stop, even interrupting meetings and my concentration in my daily routine. I ask that you stop immediately, or the appropriate measures will be taken. Thank you.”

Most of the calls drop when I answer, just to bother me. Then, when I ask the telemarketer to remove my number from their database, they hang up on me. It’s such a shame. I can’t stand all this harassment anymore.”
